Hons BA HistPol (Trinity), Dip Legal Studies (DIT), Dip Commercial Law (Law Society of Ireland), Qualified Solicitor (Law Society of Ireland), Postgrad Dip. Construction Law and Contract Administration (Trinity), Certificate of Business Accounting (CIMA)


Darren trained and worked as a solicitor in Arthur Cox, qualifying into the corporate department in 2007 and later moving to the construction department. Darren also worked in Vodafone on secondment for a six-month period during this time. In 2011 Darren moved to ESB as a senior commercial solicitor, working with various business units including the network, telecoms, generation, windfarm and e-car businesses. In 2016 Darren became Head of Legal in Mercury Engineering.




This course provides delegates with foundational knowledge and would not suit legal professionals who have vast experience dealing with contracts. 

This course would be of significant interest to all accountants, commercial managers, procurement officers or anyone who would like to brush up their current knowledge of drafting or reading contracts that they can add to their current skill set.




On completion of this one-day training course, you will receive your Certificate of Attendance. Please note certificates are issued at the close of the training course to participants on completion of the course.
