I hope this email finds you safe and well. I'd like to share an update on our Saorview marketing plan for June.
With the easing of restrictions, we expect to see some of the pent-up demand that has built up since March to translate into renewed customer engagement with retail. It's already been seen among DIY customers, as queues form for access to stores selling paint, gardening accessories and other staples. We want to be ready for that.
In the world of TV, consumers are now more cost-conscious, and our feedback suggests that they want to find solutions to help them meet their changing needs while not compromising on quality of life - or on the value that they derive from home entertainment. Television remains a significant part of that entertainment mix, as families continue to spend a greater amount of time together at home.
Our June TV campaign incorporates a new advert for Saorview Connect, that is intended to directly address value-seeking customers with a simple core message; How much are you paying for TV per month - seriously?. it's a straightforward call to action for the cost-conscious TV viewer.
The new TV ad will generate instant recognition among many Irish TV consumers, as it features clips from the hit TV series Mr. Mercedes as recently seen on RTÉ. It also emphasises the availability of catch-up TV access via the RTÉ Player and TG4 Player on Saorview Connect.
You can view the new Saorview TV advertisement by clicking here or by visiting the Saorview YouTube page. You may also embed a link to the advert in your website for the purpose of marketing the Saorview Connect box.
The new Saorview advert will run for two weeks commencing 2 June and radio for the last two weeks.
If you need any Saorview brand assets for use online, please get in touch and I will be happy to arrange supply of same.
Thank you for your continued support,
