This one-day course is a comprehensive interactive training course designed for people who are responsible for analysing all types of incidents. This course will look at how to gather, use and present available in-house incident data to monitor and maintain your safety management system. Participants will be encouraged to bring their own anonymised incident data that will be the basis for their own analysis during the day.

 

The course is suitable for anyone involved in incident and accident response or analysis, who wish to gain a thorough understanding of the essential principles.

Dr Victor Hrymak, Lecturer in Environmental Health and Safety, School of Food Science and Environmental Health, College of Sciences and Health, Dublin Institute of Technology

Dr Victor Hrymak is a fire & safety consultant, expert witness and the principal lecturer for the MSc in Environmental Health & Safety at the Dublin Institute of Technology. He has over 30 years of experience with public and private sector organisations. This extensive experience includes inspection, project management and enforcement roles in London, as well as the head of Fire & Safety for Trinity College Dublin. He is a published safety author and has presented at National & International academic conferences as well as many professional fora. His expertise and research interests involve safety auditing, the selection and conduct of risk assessments and the implementation of safety management systems.

CERTIFICATION
