The Short Form of Contract under the Public Works Contract Suite is one of the most used forms, generally utilised on projects of less than €1 million euro. This training course will provide an in depth review of this contract with a view to gaining working level understanding of the contract form.

Keith Kelliher, Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Arbitrator, Adjudicator and Accredited Mediation with leading QS practice, Kelliher & Associates.


Keith is a highly experienced expert in construction law, and has extensive experience in many aspects of construction contracts, having worked on large and high profile commercial, residential and infrastructural projects. He has served on many professional committees within the Construction Industry and is a former Chair of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in Ireland and a former council member of the Mediators Institute of Ireland. He currently sits on the Society of Chartered Surveyors Dispute Resolutions Standing Committee. He is currently on a number of panel’s of mediators/ adjudicators / conciliators/arbitrators in both Ireland and the UK and also regularly advocates for parties in dispute. Keith is also an experienced trainer and leads courses in Ireland and abroad in the area’s of ADR and construction payment processes.
