What is dispute resolution?
It is the most cost effective, and fastest way, to resolve escalated issues without having to go to court. Where going to court could take up to 71.5 weeks, or to the Ombudsman 80 days, QASSS operate at a rate of around 1 week. We are specialists in the home improvement sector and as a result, we can prove and disprove allegations/suggestions quickly, working quickly towards where responsibility lies. We are unique in that we allow businesses to raise disputes against consumers, as well as the other way round. We can also take on disputes from as little as two weeks from when the initial complaint was raised, versus 8 weeks with an ombudsman.
How much does it cost?
We offer a range of ways to pay for our services. We can do monthly subscriptions to enable easier budgeting, knowing you have a support service in place. We are also however the only dispute resolution provider to offer our services as a ‘pre-event’ product, meaning our clients can build in a small price into every job, providing our services to both they and their customer should they need them later. Prices start from as little as €3 per job, or from €115 per month. Our services include the cost of any independent inspections required, including where structural engineers are needed. We can also provide access to our own independent contractor network, should parties wish for any remedial works to be performed by someone else. Our services do tend to be a much cheaper alternative to litigation.
