Build Digital National Annual Survey 2024.

The National Guild of Master Craftsmen recognizes that digitalization is becoming more important for our members, especially those looking to grow their businesses or bid on government projects under the Capital Works Management Framework (CWMF). From January 1, 2028, the Irish BIM mandate will apply to all CWMF government projects, regardless of size, meaning some level of digitalization will be required. Sub-contractors most likely will not need to use 3D models, but they will possibly need to adjust to new systems, like downloading drawings and specs from online platforms instead of relying on email. They may also need to upload documents like specs, datasheets, and warranties to these platforms using specific file-naming rules. While learning these new processes might take some time at first, they are designed to make work more efficient and save time in the long run, helping members stay competitive.

We invite you to take part in the Build Digital National Annual Survey 2024. This survey is a unique opportunity to share your insights and influence the digital transformation of Ireland’s construction and built environment sector.

Build Digital is a government-funded initiative supporting digital adoption across our industry. Your feedback will provide invaluable guidance on the current state of digitalisation and identify what’s needed to drive progress. Digital adoption offers many benefits, from improved efficiency and productivity to enhanced sustainability and competitiveness, both nationally and internationally.

Have your voice, have your say: Please take the time to complete the survey and share your perspective. Your input will help to guide the digitisation of your sector.
